Cookie Policy

Transparency in how we use digital identifiers to deliver exceptional healthcare.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small data files stored on your device that help Heala recognize you across sessions. We use cookies only to keep you securely signed in and to remember basic preferences.

We do not use advertising, marketing, or third-party tracking cookies, and we never sell your data.

How we use them

Essential Cookies

Required to keep you securely signed in. “heala_rt” holds your encrypted session token (HttpOnly, unreadable by scripts) and “heala_role” remembers whether you are signed in as a patient, doctor, or admin. The platform cannot function without these.

Required

Preference Cookies

Set only if you use the on-page language translator. “googtrans” remembers your chosen language so pages stay translated as you browse.

Optional

Managing Preferences

You can clear or block cookies at any time in your browser settings. Please note that blocking essential cookies will sign you out and prevent consultations from working. Since we set only essential and preference cookies, no separate opt-out is required for advertising or tracking.
